Our family is committed to innovation in making use of the entire olive tree. With this product, we reach a new milestone. Olive leaves are packed with healthy polyphenols: natural antioxidants with proven health benefits. By gently heating our leaves, we create an extract that preserves these nutrients. This powerful extract forms the base of our unique infused water collection.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What exactly is Sparkling Olive Water? It is a soft drink based on sparkling water, with an extract of our own olive leaves. It has the rich flavour of a soft drink, without sugar. Lemon, Ginger, Grapefruit and Cucumber are certified organic; Pickles, made with Kesbeke, is not.
Is there olive oil in the drink? No, we use the leaves from our own olive trees and the peels of the fruit to create natural extracts. This gives the drink a full flavor and packs it with antioxidants (polyphenols), without being oily.
Why is there no waste in the production process? We believe in the power of the whole fruit. Where others throw away peels and leaves, we turn them into valuable extracts that create the unique flavor experience.
Is there really flavored water in the can? Yes and no! It’s more than the standard flavoured water from the supermarket: spring water with an extract of our own olive leaves and directly pressed fruit, or Kesbeke’s pickle juice in Pickles. A refreshing soft drink with a full flavour.
What are those polyphenols you mention? Polyphenols are powerful, natural antioxidants that occur naturally in our olive leaves. They help protect your body against free radicals and have proven health benefits. Thanks to our gentle production process (mildly heating instead of boiling), these healthy compounds are preserved in every can of our flavored water. Read more about polyphenols and antioxidants.
Does Sparkling Olive Water contain sugar? No. Sparkling Olive Water is sugar-free and contains 1.8 kcal per 100 ml.
Why isn't the Kesbeke (pickle) flavor organic certified? Good catch! Pickles is not organic. Kesbeke’s pickle extract contains, among other ingredients, the preservative E211 and the sweetener saccharin. This flavour is therefore not certified organic. Lemon, Ginger, Grapefruit and Cucumber are.
Does it contain carbonation? Yes, it’s a lightly sparkling water with a subtle level of carbonation, also known as “sparkling” water. That light fizz creates a refreshing, lively experience. Strong enough for the bite, but soft enough to enjoy in one sip!
