Natural production process
Unlike many other pomace olive oils, which are made through a chemical process
Our Olive Pomace Oil is made from the residual fresh pulp after pressing our extra virgin olive oil. We do this in an entirely natural way by heating the remaining high-quality fresh pulp in a kettle to 60 degrees Celsius. This process allows us to extract about 8% of the pulp as raw pomace olive oil, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
The raw pomace olive oil then needs to be processed. We do this in a natural way without chemicals by filtering and steaming it. To perfect the flavor, we add 10% of our organic extra virgin olive oil. This olive oil is excellent for cooking and frying, as it can be heated up to 260°C.
