Sorry, this headline really does sound like a shampoo commercial. But it’s actually true. We’re happy to introduce you to an easy way to keep your hair healthy. Because extra virgin olive oil isn’t just well absorbed through your stomach — your hair absorbs it effectively too.
In six simple steps, we’ll show you how to add olive oil to your own shampoo. What you’ll need: a measuring cup, a funnel, an empty bottle, your favorite shampoo, and of course, Gkazas Olive Oil.
1. Place the funnel in the empty shampoo bottle
2. Measure 250 ml of shampoo and pour it into the funnel
It’s smart to start with a small amount to test how much olive oil your hair needs.
3. Add extra virgin olive oil
Add two tablespoons of olive oil for normal hair. One tablespoon is enough for naturally oily or fine/thin hair. Using olive oil helps prevent hair from becoming greasy or heavy. For very dry hair, you can use more than two tablespoons.
4. Close the bottle and shake to mix the contents
5. Store your shampoo in a cool, dark place to keep the oil fresh
6. Shake your shampoo before use, wash as usual, and rinse with warm water

A few more tips:
– Use a plastic bottle to avoid broken glass — oil can be quite slippery.
– On that note: rinse your shampoo thoroughly and completely to avoid slipping.
– Don’t set your water temperature too high when rinsing. Hot water can strip your scalp and hair of their natural oils — which removes the conditioning effect of the olive oil.
We’d love to hear from you if it works!
