Crete is an island of many beautiful faces. A place that always feels like home for the Gkazas family. Doors wide open, richly filled tables, hugs, wine, olive oil, raki, and much more. What touches us the most is the love for one another and the surroundings. People help us and each other because they feel a strong sense of community and are truly a collective, without expecting anything in return. This deeply inspires us, and for this reason, we are happy to share it here in the Netherlands.

In Greece, love is more than just romance; it’s a way of life. The ancient Greeks distinguished between different forms of love, such as ‘eros’ for passion and ‘agape’ for unconditional love. These nuances are still felt in contemporary Greek culture. Holidays like Christmas and Easter are celebrated with deep connection and traditions. Children sing ‘Kalanda’ carols, and families share meals, with an extra seat at the table reserved for Agios Vasilios, the Greek saint of New Year’s Day. These traditions reflect Greek values of love, family, and community.

Our family business produces olive oil with care and passion, aiming to make high-quality olive oil accessible to as many people as possible. Our olive oil is more than just a product; it is a way to bring people together. The result of a fair production process where we take everything and everyone into account: the land, the farmers, the animals, the environment, and of course, the quality of the oil itself.
