Natural production process
In tegenstelling tot veel andere pomace olijfolie, die middels een chemisch proces wordt gemaakt.
This olive oil is obtained by pressing oil from olives that have already been mechanically treated and/or extracting it from olive pulp. We do this in a completely natural way by heating the remaining high-quality fresh pulp to 60°C in a kettle. This allows us to extract around 8% of the pulp as raw pomace olive oil, ensuring that nothing of the product is wasted.
The raw pomace olive oil is then filtered and steamed to make it “edible”. To enhance the flavour, we add 10% of our organic extra virgin olive oil. This olive oil is perfect for baking and frying, as it can be heated up to 260°C.
