Hi, we are the Dutch-Greek Gkazas family. We produce extra virgin olive oil on our own land in Crete and on land of our friendly neighbors. The Cretan love for the product is unmatched, which is why we harvest in the most authentic, pure, and natural way — with our own hands. Here’s how it works: after a day of handpicking olives, we rush them to the press. This ensures we can guarantee the highest quality olive oil. The olives are cold-pressed and stored to undergo a natural self-filtering process. After a few months, our extra virgin olive oil is ready to be shipped to the Netherlands. Our olive oil bottle is a result of love for the product and care for the environment. The bottle is made from sustainably produced glass. At Gkazas, we do everything we can to minimize our ecological footprint. And yes, our bottles are reusable too. For instance, we often refill our bottles using our 5-liter olive oil can. That olive oil can sure comes in handy. We even use empty olive oil bottles to store other oils. Pretty useful, right?
