What kind of oil is Gkazas Olive Oil? The extra virgin olive oil (green bottles/cans) found on our website is organic. You can read more about it here: organic olive oil. Our highest-quality organic extra virgin olive oil is the most expensive variant (green can), as producing this oil is more labor-intensive—you can only use natural pesticides and no artificial fertilizers. Throughout this process, extra attention is paid to health and biodiversity.
The conventional extra virgin olive oil you find at Albert Heijn (blue bottles and cans) is not organic. Our highest-quality conventional extra virgin olive oil (blue cans/bottles) is somewhat more affordable than our organic oil, as the production process is less complex.
